Run for Superdelegate

The Somerville Democratic City Committee will hold its first quarter meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Somerville High School Highlander Forum (Room 336) (81 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143).

Hear updates from elected officials, candidates for county office, sign nomination papers, and hear from activists working on important organizing efforts. All are welcome to attend, please RSVP!

Somerville Democratic City Committee members will vote on Resolutions reported by the Resolutions Subcommittee and endorsements for uncontested statewide Democratic candidates (Healey, Driscoll, Galvin, Campbell, DiZoglio).

SDCC members will also vote to elect 1 At-Large Superdelegate to the State Convention and members of the Ward 6 Committee will vote to elect 1 Ward 6 Superdelegate. These seats will be elected by SDCC members of their respective committees, but any Somerville Democrat can runfor the At-Large Seat, and any Ward 6 Democrat can run for the Ward 6 seat.

  • 2026 Caucus Elections

    The Somerville Democratic City Committee will hold its caucus on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 11:30 AM at the Somerville High School Cafeteria (81 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143).

    At the caucus, registered and pre-registered Democrats in Somerville will come together to elect delegates and alternates to represent the city at the 2026 Massachusetts Democratic Convention, and to connect with neighbors and fellow Democrats.
